4. In your own words, how would you define creativity? What traits do you need to have to be

considered, “creative?” Would you consider yourself creative, why? (no more than 300 words)

I would define creativity as the ability to adapt to a given situation. I do not believe creativity is limited to the arts, anyone can be creative, for example, Thomas Edison and his development of the light-bulb. Though many would consider that to be innovation, innovation and creativity go hand in hand.  The most important trait needed to be considered  “creative” is imagination. Imagination allows us to look beyond what is factual and current, beyond the now and into the future. I would considered myself to be creative. I like to look at the possibilities in everything, which gives me insight into how things may work and how to make them better. I am also a fine artist and thespian.

5. Describe a time when you did something creative (no more than 300 words)

One time when I did something creative was my creation Zombie-Man. I wanted to create a superhero that wasn’t the typical superhero, one that didn’t really have powers but was extremely powerful at the same time. With this in mind I thought about the character being a Zombie. Zombies are virtually unstoppable, they feel no pain and no remorse. So I decided to make my superhero a Zombie.
